Jacob has improved his bike riding skills this year. He was ready for the next step in cruising. He has been on a couple bike rides when the snow melts.

Madeline got a bike for Christmas. She had outgrown her old one and was ready to ride the streets in style.

Grandma and Grandpa Berrett stayed with us for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. They enjoyed the "magic" that Christmas morning brings. Grandparents are also handy with a snap knife and undoing all the twist ties on the toy packages!

Madeline and Jacob were excited about their new pj's. They opened them Christmas Eve.

This was our Christmas card picture. We had a great time at the Turner family reunion at Newport Beach. I love going to the beach. We lived by the ocean in North Carolina, Virginia, and Texas. We are land locked in Idaho so we were excited to play in the deep blue sea again.

ahhh, the magic of christmas... the christmas tree is decorated Madeline was looking at the tree and thinking about all the fun ornaments. Madeline and Jacob both have ornaments from school and the past years when they have received them as gifts.

candy corn, gummy worms, pastel mints, cinnamon swirls, frosted shredded mini wheats, and more candy!

Jacob's favorite part of the gingerbread decorating is the gingerbread eating. If you noticed his mouth is full of candy. Yummy!

We had a great time decorating the tree together. Jacob wanted to wear his policeman dress up hat. The rest of us wore our elf hats.

Madeline and Jacob had a great Christmas. They loved the tree and all the decorations.

Jacob had his big gymnastics show. He loved showing us his somersault, cartwheel, and balance beam work.

madeline at her first gymnastics show. she did the beam, bars, vault, and floor. what a great experience. she loves gymnastics and is always sad when we have a break for christmas.

We had a great breakfast of crab cakes and poached eggs. I love both of them and ya put it together and it's magic. I have a new obsession with poached eggs. Growing up I thought eggs were disgusting but as an adult I have come to understand them better and cook them often.

Stephen and Tonya at Whitetail in McCall Idaho. It was a great relaxing weekend looking over Payette Lake.

Halloween in Star Wars Land. Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Bobba Fett, and a white cat. We will pretend like Madeline is an ewok or Chubakka.

A houseful of hats! Grant came up to visit so Grandpa, Madeline, Jacob, and Grant had a hat party. The kids love to play with Grant and chase him all over the house.

Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, I got a cute bike, Happy Birthday to me. Who wouldn't love a pink beach cruiser bike to ride around Sun Valley.

A perfect day at Lake Powell. This was a 6 am ski run and the sun looked absolutely amazing! The water was perfect and the company was too!

Madeline and Jacob had a great time at Lake Powell. It doesn't take much to entertain kids...sand, water, add kids and hours of fun!!

Grandma Turner wanted to dip her feet in the ocean. We kept waiting for the waves to get closer. Well, the ocean came to her! What a great picture!
